evolve design | build were appointed Project Leaders to Design and Project Manage one of the five inaugural Foundry projects. We worked closely with Foundry Central in Vancouver, along with the remaining four sites, to build a service provision from the ground up. We carried out 100+ interviews with all stakeholders to understand the space requirements

Interior Design including FF&E (Fixture, furnishing and Equipment) Specification, Furniture Specification.
Pre-Construction including creating and issuing completed Construction Drawing packs, managing Construction RFP process.
Design and Project Management for the duration of construction.
Deficiency Resolution and Project Closeout.
The Foundry Kelowna site has been held as the benchmark for all future sites in terms of layout and design.

Our experience with BCIYSI, Foundry Central and Foundry Kelowna positioned us to be able to design an exceptionally functional and fit for purpose facility to serve the Penticton Community. In excess of 100 hours of interviews with stakeholders, from the Youth to the Psychiatrists and everyone in between – over a year in the making, trips to other centers, this knowledge and education ensured we were best equipped to space plan and design to the best of our abilities and ensure our client’s needs were not only met, but exceeded.

Interior Design + Project Management
The provision of services for Child Abuse victims and their families was severely lacking in the Okanagan before the successful fundraising and building of the CAC-Kelowna. Evolve Design Build was appointed to carry out a full needs assessment and Design the new space which would ultimately house the RCMP, Interior Health Authority, Children & Family Services, along with the CAC Administrative team and a full house of Counselors and Therapists. Integration of otherwise separate departments was crucial, as was a high level of building and personal security. Our team underwent the highest level of Federal Security checks and handled an extensive amount of highly sensitive material in order to be able to provide our Client with the most efficient, safe, professional and beautiful space.
The CAC is the largest and most comprehensive service provider of this nature in BC.

evolve design | build was hired to assist with full Feasibility Studies, Conceptual Designs & Cost Benefit Analysis on premises throughout the Province ahead of WCG Services being awarded the Provincial Contract, and subsequentially won the full Design | Build fit out contract for all chosen locations. The project was carried out on all seven locations simultaneously, on extremely aggressive timelines of 16 weeks. We managed Design, Construction and Budgets for the entire project for WCG.
WorkBC require a high level of Accessibility Compliance, we worked with the Rick Hansen Philosophy and provided spaces that met Security, Accessibility, Flow, and Operational Adaptability considerations, as well as bringing to life a whole new paradigm on the provision of Employment Services alongside the vision of our Client.
